Investigation of depression in patients with thin nasal skin treated by doctors after rhinoplasty and its influencing factors
Objective To analyze the status of depression in patients with thin nasal skin undergoing rhinoplasty and its influencing factors. Methods The clinical data of 100 patients with thin nasal skin who underwent rhinoplasty in our hospital from June 2019 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. After 1 year of follow-up,according to Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),33 patients were divided into depression group and 67 patients were not depressed group.Baseline data, postoperative pain and adverse events were compared between the two groups.Multivariate Lo-gistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of depression in patients with thin nasal skin undergoing rhinoplasty. Results Among 100 patients with thin nasal skin,33 cases(33.00%)had postoperative depression,15 cases(45.45%)had mild depression,10 cases(30.30%)had moderate depression, and 8 cases(24.24%)had se-vere depression. The proportion of married patients in depression group, monthly income ≤ 5000,ethylene prosthesis material, severe pain, postoperative scar contraction and infection deformation was higher than that in non-depression group(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that marriage, monthly income ≤ 5000 yuan,eth-ylene prosthesis material, severe pain, postoperative scar contraction, infection and deformation were all influencing factors for depression after nasal surgery in patients with thin nose skin(P<0.05).Conclusion The incidence of de-pression after rhinoplasty was higher in patients with thin nose skin.Married, monthly income ≤ 5000 yuan, ethylene prosthesis material, severe pain, postoperative scar contraction, infection and deformation were all influencing factors.
