The effect of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing combined with psychological intervention on patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury
Objective To explore the value of comprehensive rehabilitation nursing combined with psychologi-cal intervention for neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury and the impact of sleep quality. Methods 82 patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury who were admitted to our hospital from June 2018 to June 2021 were selected as the study subjects and divided into two groups(41 cases in each group)using a"random sampling method".The control group received routine sleep quality management, while the observation group received comprehensive re-habilitation nursing combined with psychological intervention. The effects, psychological status, quality of life, and sleep quality of the two groups of patients were compared. Results The residual urine volume(71.61±10.05ml)and daily urination frequency(9.21±2.71 times)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while bladder pressure(22.14±4.71mmHg)and bladder volume(430.56±19.24ml)were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)score(38.14±2.88 points),Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)score(39.34±2.67 points),and sleep quality score in the observation group were lower than those in the con-trol group(P<0.05).The quality of life scores in all dimensions of the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive rehabilitation nursing combined with psychological intervention has a positive effect on improving the quality of life, sleep quality, and psychological state of patients with neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury,as well as increasing bladder pressure and promoting urination.
