Clinical effects of quetiapine and haloperidol in the treatment of schizophrenia patients
Objective To analyze the clinical effects of quetiapine and haloperidol in the treatment of schizo-phrenia and their effects on depression and anxiety.Methods 80 schizophrenic patients treated in our hospital were selected as the research objectives by Excel.They were randomly divided into reference group(n=54)and test group(n=54).The statistical time was from January 2021 to January 2023.40 patients in the reference group were treated with haloperidol and 40 patients in the test group were treated with quetiapine.The clinical efficacy,positive and nega-tive symptom scales of the two groups were compared.Results The clinical total effective rate of the experimental group(95.00%)was higher than that of the reference group(77.50%).After treatment,PANSS score,HAMA score and HAMD score in the experimental group were lower than those in the reference group,and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group was lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The quetiapine can effectively improve the mental symptoms of schizophrenic patients,reduce depression,anxiety and other negative emotions,and there are fewer adverse reactions.
