The impact of family function on aggressive behavior in patients with bipolar disorder
Objective To explore the impact of family function on aggressive behavior in patients with bipolar dis-order.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 100 patients with bipolar disorder admitted to our hospital from January 2020 to October 2023.After admission, the Modified overt aggression scale(MOAS)was used to assess whether aggressive behaviors occurred.According to the scoring results, the patients were divided into the occur-rence group(n=40)and the non occurrence group(n=60).Compare the differences between two groups of general infor-mation[gender,age,course of illness, marital status, whether they are only children, education level, and whether they have a fixed occupation],as well as the Family Assessment Device(FAD)and Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),and analyze the risk factors for aggressive behavior in bipolar disorder patients through multiple logistic regression analysis. Results The incidence group had a higher proportion of divorce/widowhood,only child, junior high school education or below,no fixed occupation, and a higher FAD score than the non occurrence group. The SSRS score was lower than the non occurrence group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that divorce/widowhood,only child, middle school education or below,no fixed occupation,FAD score, and SSRS score were risk factors for aggressive behavior in patients with bipolar disorder, all of which were P<0.05.Conclusion The occurrence of aggressive behavior in patients with bipolar disorder is influenced by many fac-tors,among which divorce/widowhood,only child, middle school education or below,no fixed occupation,FAD score,SSRS score are important factors for predicting the occurrence of aggressive behavior in this disease, and clinical attention should be paid closely.
