Effect of sertraline combined with psychotherapy on mood and cardiac function in acute myocardial inf-arction patients complicated with anxiety and depression
Objective To explore the clinical value of sertraline combined with psychotherapy in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction(AMI)patients with anxiety and depression. Methods 90 AMI patients with anxi-ety and depression admitted to our hospital from September 2020 to September 2022 were divided into groups based on the"simple randomization method".The control group(receiving sertraline treatment)and the observation group(receiving tratratratraline combined with psychotherapy),45 cases in both groups; The scores of anxiety and depres-sion scale(HAD),psychological resilience, psychological burden and cardiac function were compared between two groups. Results Before treatment, the scores of anxiety, depression and resilience in the two groups were no different(P>0.05).After treatment, compared with the control group, the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD-17)in the observation group were significantly lower, while the scores of resil-ience scale(CD-RISC)were significantly higher(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment, the SPBS scores of the two groups decreased after treatment(P<0.05),and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05).Before treatment, the indexes of cardiac function in the two groups were no different(P>0.05).After treatment, the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),cardiac output(CO)and cardiac stroke volume(SV)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Sertraline assisted psy-chotherapy for AMI patients with anxiety and depression plays a significant role in improving anxiety and depression, reducing the level of psychological burden, effectively improving cardiac function and improving prognosis.
