Effects of perioperative psychotherapy on negative emotions, mental resilience and postoperative pain in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical surgery for ovarian/cervical cancer
Objective To explore the effects of perioperative psychotherapy based on positive gain theory on negative emotions, mental resilience and postoperative pain in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resec-tion of ovarian/cervical cancer. Methods 103 elderly patients with laparoscopic radical resection of ovarian/cervical cancer in our hospital were divided by random number table method. Both groups were given routine laparoscopic surgery and anesthesia, and intraoperative intravenous infusion of dexmedetomidine(Dex),while 51 cases in the control group were combined with routine psychotherapy during perioperative period.52 patients in the observation group were given perioperative psychotherapy based on positive gain theory.Negative emotions, psychological burden, stress and post-operative pain were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the depression score and anxiety scale score of observation group were lower than that of control group(P<0.05).The scores of self-burden and stress were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).The degree of pain 24h after operation was lower than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Perioperative psychotherapy based on positive gain theory can effectively improve the nega-tive emotions, reduce psychological burden, relieve stress and relieve postoperative pain in elderly patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection of ovarian/cervical cancer.
