The current status of acute stress disorder in patients with acute poisoning
Objective To investigate and analyze the current status of acute stress disorder(ASD)in patients with poisoning in emergency medicine. Methods Eighty-eight patients with emergency poisoning in Jieshou People's Hospital from February 2020 to March 2023 were included, screened for ASD during hospitalization, and set into ASD group as well as non-ASD group.General data such as gender, age, type of poisoning, and psychological conditions such as psychological resilience and anxiety were compared between the two groups.A unifactorial and multifactorial analysis was used to investigate the factors affecting ASD in patients with emergency poisoning. Results Thirty-one cases of ASD were screened in 88 patients with emergency poisoning.age, mechanical ventilation, type of poison-ing,psychological resilience, anxiety, and coping styles differed significantly between the ASD and non-ASD groups(P<0.05).Differences in gender, place of residence, and monthly household income between the two groups were not significant(P>0.05).logistics regression analysis showed that age<60 years, mechanical ventilation, low psy-chological resilience, and avoidance coping were the influencing factors of ASD in patients with emergency poisoning(P<0.05).Conclusion Emergency poisoned patients have a higher incidence of ASD,and older age, mechanical ventilation, and low psychological resilience increase the risk of ASD.
