Investigation and Analysis of Postoperative Anxiety and Depression in Patients with Preventive Enterostomy
Objective To investigate of postoperative anxiety and depression in patients with preventive enter-ostomy.Methods A total of 108 patients with low rectal cancer were selected from Wuhan Red Cross Hospital from March 2020 to February 2023,all of whom underwent preventive enterostomy.Postoperative investigation of anxiety and depression using the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS).The general information such as age and gender of patients with concomitant anxiety and depression were compared.The influencing factors of postoperative anxiety and depression were analyzed through single factor and multiple factor analysis.Results Among 108 patients with preven-tive enterostomy,40 had anxiety and 34 had depression;There were statistically significant differences in age,fam-ily income,work situation,place of residence,and educational level among anxiety patients(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in gender,age,comorbidities,family income,work status,and educational level among patients with depression(P<0.05).Age<45 years old,low-income families,working,and living in rural ar-eas are risk factors for postoperative anxiety(P<0.05).Women,age<45 years old,comorbidities,and low-income families are risk factors for postoperative depression(P<0.05).Conclusion Postoperative anxiety and depression are common in patients with preventive enterostomy,and may increase the risk of anxiety and depression in middle-aged,young,and low-income families.
