The effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on diabetes patients with depression
Objective To explore the intervention effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on on diabetes patients with depression.Methods Seventy diabetes patients with depression in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2022 were selected and randomly divided into two groups using the number table method.Both groups were given basic care,the control group was given routine psychological care,and the observation group was given cognitive behavioral thera-py.The Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and the 17-item Self-Rating Depression Scale(HAMD-17)were evaluated in the two groups before and after nursing.The fasting blood glucose(FBG)and 2h postprandial blood glucose(2hPG)before and after nursing were detected.Results After nursing,the HAMA scores and HAMD-17 scores in the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before nursing,and the scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After nursing,FBG and 2hPG in the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before nursing,and the indexes in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group after nursing(P<0.05).Conclusion Cognitive behavioral therapy can signifi-cantly reduce anxiety and depressive in diabetes patients with depression,and help to control their blood sugar levels.
