The seefect of acceptance and commitment therapy on negative emotions in patients undergoing rectal cancer surgery
Objective To explore the value of acceptance and commitment therapy in rectal cancer patients un-dergoing surgical treatment,and to analyze the impact of each plan on negative emotions in patients.Methods 120 patients diagnosed with rectal cancer in our hospital from April 2020 to April 2022 were selected and randomly divided into groups using a number table method.60 patients receiving routine care were included in the control group,while 60 patients receiving acceptance and commitment therapy were included in the observation group.Analyze the negative emotional changes of patients before and after nursing,and evaluate their psychological flexibility and social psycho-logical adaptability.Results After receiving and promising treatment,the anxiety and depression scores of 60 patients in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The psychological flexibility score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The positive emotions,negative emotions,social life adaptation,and total scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Con-clusion Applying acceptance and commitment therapy in rectal cancer surgical care can improve patients'psychologi-cal flexibility and social adaptability by alleviating their negative emotions.
