Effects of quetiapine fumarate tablets on serum neurocytokines and neuroelectrophysiological parameters in patients with first-episode schizophrenia
Objective To investigate the effects of quetiapine fumarate tablets on serum neurocytokines and neuroelectrophysiological parameters in first-episode schizophrenics. Methods A total of 96 patients with first-onset schizophrenia from January 2021 to February 2022 in our hospital were enrolled and divided into control group(aripip-razole treatment)and observation group(quetiapine fumarate treatment)according to the method of random number table, with 48 cases each;Compare the clinical treatment effect, serum neurocytokines and neuroelectrophysiological parameters between the two groups. Results After treatment, the level of glial fibrillary acidic protein factor(GFAP)in both groups was lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),and the level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate and the levels of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF)and nerve growth factor(NGF)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the latency of P300 and N2-P3 in both groups was shortened(P<0.05),the amplitude of P300 and N2-P3 increased in both groups(P<0.05).The improvement range of the observation group was greater than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Quetiapine fumarate tablet is superior to aripiprazole alone in the first-episode schizo-phrenia,which canimprove serum neurocytokines and neuroelectrophysiological parameters.
