Clinical effect of G-CBT combined with MECT in the treatment of BAD with childhood trauma
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the application of group-cognitive behavioral therapy(G-CBT)combined with modified electroconvulsive therapy in bipolar affective disorder(BAD)patients with childhood trauma.Methods 100 bipolar affective disorder patients with childhood trauma who were treated in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Modified Electroconvulsive Therapy,and the observation group was treated with interactive group cognitive behavior therapy combined with MECT,the clinical effects of the two groups were compared.Results After joint G-CBT treatment,each dimensions and total scores of Internalized stigma of mental illness scale were significantly lower while treatment compliance was significantly better in the observation group than the control group(P<0.05).Besides Hamilton Depression Scale-17,Young manic rating scale and clinical global impression scale-severity of illness were significantly lower while correct rates of facial emotion recognition including happy,sad,angry,shock(P<0.05).Conclusion Combining G-CBT on the basis of MECT in the treatment of BAD patients with childhood trauma can effectively improve their treatment compliance,which was beneficial for the improvement of mental status and emotion recognition ability.
