The relationship between adolescent depression and suicide risk:the role of Psychache and Ruminative Though
Objective To investigate the mediating role of psychological pain between depression experience and suicide risk of adolescent depression patients and the regulating role of ruminant thinking.Methods Adolescent depression patients were investigated with the ruminant thinking scale,the self rating depression scale,the revised suicide behavior questionnaire and the psychological distress scale.Results(1)Ruminant thinking,depression,psychological pain were significantly positively correlated with suicide risk of adolescent depression patients.(2)Psy-chological pain can play a part of intermediary role between depression experience and suicide risk.(3)Rumination affects the second half of the intermediary process of suicide risk by regulating psychological pain.Conclusion First of all,depression can directly affect the risk of suicide,and then it can indirectly affect the risk of suicide through psychological pain.Finally,ruminant thinking can significantly and positively regulate the risk of psychological pain on suicide risk.
