Objective o explore the status and influencing factors of prenatal depression in second trimester pregnant women. Methods A total of 108 pregnant women with second pregnancies from January 2022 to October 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Prenatal depression screening was conducted using the Zung Depression Self Rating Scale(SDS)in the third trimester of pregnancy, and they were divided into the prenatal depression group and the non prenatal depression group. The general information such as age, educational background, and whether the two groups of pregnant women are planning pregnancy were compared. The single factor and multivariate analysis were used to single factor and multivariate analysis. Results Prenatal depression was detected in 28 of 108 pregnant women with second pregnancies, with a detection rate of 25.93%.There were statistically significant differences between the pre-natal depression group and the non prenatal depression group in terms of age, planned pregnancy, history of abnormal diagnosis during pregnancy testing, expected newborn gender, family monthly income, and educational background(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in terms of delivery mode,resi-dence,and work status of a single child(P>0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that unplanned pregnancy,age>35 years old, history of abnormal diagnosis in pregnancy testing, expected newborn gender, and family monthly in-come<3000 yuan were the influencing factors for prenatal depression in second trimester pregnant women. Conclusion The detection rate of prenatal depression in pregnant women with second trimester is high, which is related to factors such as unplanned pregnancy and older age.Health education and psychological guidance should be strengthened for such pregnant women.
