The effect of psychological nursing on mood in ulcerative colitis patients accompanied by depression and anxiety
Objective To explore the impact of psychological care on the psychological status of patients with ul-cerative colitis(UC)accompanied by depression and anxiety.Methods Case data were collected and filed from January 2020 to December 2022.A total of 200 UC patients with anxiety and depression admitted to the hospital were included.The participants were divided into a control group(receiving routine care)and an observation group(receiving psychological care)based on a 1∶1 random number table method,with 100 cases included in each group;Observe and compare the psychological status,resilience,quality of life,and nursing satisfaction between the two groups.Results After inter-vention,the SAS and SDS scores of both groups decreased,with the observation group having a lower score(P<0.05).After intervention,the CD-RISC scores of psychological resilience increased in both groups,with the observation group having a higher score(P<0.05).After intervention,the IBDQ scores of both groups increased,and the observation group had higher scores than the control group(P<0.05).The comparison of nursing satisfaction data showed that the ob-servation group had a higher score(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of psychological nursing in UC patients with anxiety and depression can significantly eliminate negative emotions,improve psychological resilience,comprehen-sively improve their quality of life,and achieve satisfactory nursing outcomes.
