Effect of mindfulness-based structured intervention in cancer patients and its impact on life and mental state
Objective Explore the impact of mindfulness-based structured intervention on the psychological sta-tus and quality of life of cancer patients.Methods All 80 prospectively selected cancer patients were admitted between January 2020 and January 2023 and were divided into two groups by random number table,40 patients in the control group provided routine care and 40 patients in the observation group conducted mindfulness-based structured interven-tion.Results After intervention,the IWB score(11.78±2.32),STS score(47.86±2.33),social ability(43.56±4.78),material life(44.68±3.32),physical ability(45.59±3.33),and psychological ability score(47.87±3.39)of the observation group were all higher than those of the control group(P<0.05),while the SCS score(31.15±2.59),FCRI-SF score(12.36±2.48),and VAS score(1.69±0.58)were all lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Structured mindfulness based interventions for cancer survivors can improve their mood,enhance happi-ness,alleviate body pain and discomfort.
