Correlation analysis of anxiety, depression and drug compliance in patients with coronary artery ectasia
Objective To conduct a survey on the current status of anxiety and depression in patients with coro-nary artery ectasia(CAE)and analysis of the influencing factors, and to analyze the relationship between their com-pliance with secondary prevention medication and anxiety, depression. Methods Ninety-eight patients diagnosed with CAE by coronary angiography in the cardiology department of a tertiary care general hospital in Hebei Province from March 2020 to September 2022 were retrospectively investigated.General information questionnaires, the Hospi-tal Anxiety and Depression Scale(HAD),and the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale-8(MMAS-8)were used to conduct the questionnaire survey. Results HAD scores of CAE patients were(9.51±4.77)and MMAS-8 scores were(5.46±1.46).Spearman rank correlation analysis showed Medication adherence in patients with CAE was negatively correlated with anxiety and depression(r=-0.608,P<0.01).Multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that monthly per capita household income, diabetes,BMI,and type of companionship were the main influencing factors of anxiety and depression in CAE patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The level of anxiety and depression in patients with coronary artery dilatation was higher, and the compliance with secondary prophylactic drugs was poor, which showed a negative correlation.
