Effect of Sertraline on depressive state and neurological function in patients with cerebral hemorrhage complicated with depression
Objective To study the effects of sertraline on depressive state and neurological function in patients with cerebral hemorrhage complicated with depression. Methods A total of 90 patients with cerebral hemorrhage com-plicated with depression from February 2021 to February 2023 in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups by random number table method. Both groups received routine treatment for cerebral hemorrhage,45 patients in the control group received routine psychological counseling and placebo treatment, and 45 patients in the observation group received routine psychological counseling combined with sertraline treatment.Depressive mood, neurological function, levels of related factors and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the Hamilton anxiety rating scale(H AMD)score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,Neurological deficit soore(NIHSS)in observation group was lower than that in control group, and Barthel index(BI)was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment, serum levels of Neurofilament light Chain(NfL)and Phosphorylated tau181(P-TAu181)in the observation group were lower than those in the con-trol group(P<0.05).No obvious adverse reactions occurred in both groups. Conclusion Sertraline can effectively improve the depressive state of patients with cerebral hemorrhage complicated with depression, and promote the recov-ery of neurological function in patients with high safety, and has clinical popularization value.
