Correlation analysis between health cognition and anxiety and depression in women screened for two cancers
Objective To analyze the correlation between health cognition and anxiety and depression in women screened for two cancers. Methods According to the implementation plan of the two-cancer screening program in our hospital,92 women aged 35~64 years who received the two-cancer screening in our hospital from January 2022 to Janu-ary 2023 were selected for the study.According to the emotional status of the screening subjects, they were divided into the normal emotional group(n=52)and the group with anxiety and depression(n=40).The scores of basic knowledge, risk factors and self-help knowledge of the two groups of women were recorded, and the scores of the Self-rating depres-sion Scale(Self-rating depression Scale,SDS)and Self-rating anxiety scale(Self-rating anxiety scale,SAS)of the two groups were observed.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the relationship between health cognition and anxiety and depression in women screened for two cancers. Results Compared with the two groups of women's health cognition, the acceptance and perceived benefit scores of the anxiety and depression group were significantly lower than those of the nor-mal mood group, and the helplessness scores were significantly higher than those of the normal mood group(P<0.05).The SDS score and SAS score of the two groups were significantly higher than those of the normal mood group(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that helplessness was positively correlated with SDS score and SAS score, while acceptance and perceived benefit were negatively correlated with SDS score and SAS score(P<0.05).Conclusion There is a sig-nificant correlation between health cognition and anxiety and depression in women screened for two cancers, and patients with low health cognition are more prone to anxiety and depression, which needs clinical attention.
