Risk factors and curative effect of sleep disorder in hospitalized patients with severe pneumonia
Objective To analyze the risk factors of sleep disorder in severe pneumonia(SP)patients during hospitalization. Methods A study was conducted on 100 patients with sleep disorders who visited Chongming Hos-pital affiliated with Shanghai University of Health from April 2021 to April 2023.They were divided into groups using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),with 40 patients with sleep disorders with scores ≥ 60 as the observation group and non sleep disorder patients with scores<60 as the control group.Logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify the risk factors for sleep disorders in SP patients.Forty patients with sleep disorders were divided into two groups based on different treatment methods, with 20 cases in each group. The conventional group received treatment with es-tazolam and routine health guidance, while the combined group received mindfulness decompression treatment on the basis of the conventional group. The clinical efficacy and PSQI score of the two groups were compared. Results Family economic income, family care, payment methods, length of stay in intensive care unit(ICU),and ICU environment are risk factors for sleep disorders in SP patients, with P<0.05.The total clinical effective rate of the combination group(95.00%)was higher than that of the conventional group(70.00%),with P<0.05.The PSQI score of the combined group after treatment was lower than that of the conventional group,P<0.05.Conclusion The occurrence of sleep disorders in SP patients is related to multiple factors, and the combination of eszolam and mindfulness decompression therapy can effectively improve the sleep quality of patients with severe pneumonia.
