The influence of cognitive behavior nursing on cancer-related fatigue and self-efficacy in breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
Objective To explore the value of cognitive behavioral nursing for breast cancer patients during the implementation of chemotherapy,and analyze the impact of this program on cancer-related fatigue and self-efficacy.Methods 30 patients diagnosed with breast cancer from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into two groups,one receiving routine care(control)and the other receiving cognitive behavioral care(observation).Sta-tistical analysis of cancer-related fatigue,self-efficacy,psychological state,and cognitive function before and after intervention.Results Compared with the control group,115 patients in the observation group showed a significant de-crease in cancer related fatigue after receiving cognitive behavioral care(P<0.05).The self-efficacy of the observation group significantly increased(P<0.05).The SDS score and SAS score of the observation group decreased(P<0.05).The cognitive function of the observation group was significantly increased(P<0.05).Conclusion In the process of chemotherapy for breast cancer patients,providing cognitive behavioral nursing programs can improve their mental state and cognitive function,and alleviate their cancer-related fatigue by improving self-efficacy.
