The effect of psychological nursing intervention on the elderly patients with chronic heart failure
Objective To explore the clinical value of psychological nursing intervention in elderly patients with chronic heart failure and the improvement effect on their psychological status. Methods From May 2019 to April 2022,90 elderly patients with chronic heart failure who were admitted to the hospital and treated by strict admission and dis-charge standards were enrolled in the study. They were divided into two groups by systematic sampling method. They were divided into control group(45 cases)and observation group(45 cases)for routine nursing and observation group(45 cases)for psychological nursing intervention. The mental state and resilience of the patients before and after the in-tervention were evaluated and compared, and the cardiac function indexes of the two groups were compared. Results Before intervention,Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating depression scale(SDS)and Connor-Davidson re-silience scale(CD-RISC)scores of the two groups were compared(P>0.05).After intervention,SAS and SDS scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, while CD RISC scores were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Before intervention, the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)and 6-minute walking distance of the two groups were compared(P>0.05).After intervention,LVEF and 6-minute walking dis-tance of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Psy-chological nursing intervention implemented in the nursing of elderly patients with chronic heart failure can significantly eliminate the negative emotions of patients and improve their psychological resilience, thus promoting the improvement of patients'cardiac function and achieving good quality of life.
