The effect of psychological intervention in patients after artificial knee replacement surgery during the peri-operative period
Objective To explore the impact of psychological intervention on the psychological, emotional, and postoperative quality of life of patients undergoing artificial knee replacement surgery. Methods Case data were collected and recorded from October 2019 to October 2022.A total of 110 patients with artificial knee replacement sur-gery admitted to the hospital were included. The participants were divided into a control group(receiving routine care)and an observation group(receiving routine care+psychological intervention)based on a standardized"random num-ber table"method, with 55 patients included in each group;Observe and compare negative emotions, psychological resilience, quality of life, and patient satisfaction between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)in both groups decreased, with the obser-vation group scoring lower(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of the psychological resilience scale(CD-RISC)increased in both groups, with the observation group having a higher score(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of both groups on the Simplified Health Status Questionnaire(SF-36)significantly increased, with the observation group being relatively higher(P<0.05).The satisfaction of patients in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Psychological intervention used in patients undergoing artificial knee arthroplasty during the perioperative period can significantly improve their negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, enhance psychological resilience, increase patient satisfaction and cooperation with treatment, and com-prehensively improve their quality of life.
