Correlation between residual symptoms and family and social function in patients with bipolar affective disorder
Objective Analysis of patients with bipolar affective disorder plateau residual symptoms and family and social function of correlation.Methods Choose from January 2021 to June 2023 in our hospital for treatment of 150 patients with bipolar affective disorder as the research object.According to the Social Disability Screening Scale(SDSS)scores after 12 weeks of treatment,the patients were divided into family and social dysfunction group(n=47)and no family and social dysfunction group(n=103).The baseline data and residual symptoms of depression and mania after treatment were compared between the two groups.Using correlation analysis plateau residual symptoms of patients with bipolar affective disorder,family and social function of correlation.Results Compared with the non-family and social dysfunction group,the family and social dysfunction group had a history of sleep disorders,≥3 episodes during treat-ment,education level of junior high school or below,Young manic rating scale(YMRS)10~20 points,and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)8~21 points(P<0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that history of sleep disorders,education level of junior high school or below,YMRS score of 10~20 points,HAMD score of 8~21 points were the influencing factors of family and social dysfunction in patients with bipolar affective disorder(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that YMRS score and HAMD score were positively correlated with SDSS score in patients with stable bipolar affective disorder(P<0.05).Conclusion Patients with stable bipolar affective disorder are more likely to have family and social dysfunction.Residual symptoms,history of sleep disorders,more seizures during treat-ment,and education level are risk factors for family and social dysfunction.
