The Effect of Exercise Imagination Therapy on Upper Limb Function Rehabilitation,Sleep Disorders, and Psychological Status in Patients with Hemiplegia after Stroke
Objective To explore the rehabilitation effect of motor imagery therapy on upper limb function and its impact on psychology and sleep in stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods Case data were collected and recorded from October 2020 to October 2022.A total of 122 stroke hemiplegic patients admitted to the hospital were divided into a control group(receiving routine rehabilitation training)and an observation group(receiving routine rehabilitation training+motor imagery therapy)based on the"Random number table method"1:1 grouping.61 cases were included in each group;Observe and compare the negative emotions, psychological resilience, sleep quality, and upper limb function between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS)in both groups decreased, and the observation group had lower scores than the con-trol group(P<0.05).The Connor Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores in both groups decreased, and the observation group had a lower score(P<0.05).After intervention, the Fugl Meyer Mo-tor Function Assessment(FMA)scores of both groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group scored relatively higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Conducting motor imagery therapy in the reha-bilitation of stroke patients with hemiplegia can improve the rehabilitation effect of upper limb function, alleviate anxi-ety and depression, improve psychological resilience, and improve sleep quality.
