The efficacy of acupuncture combined with sertraline in the treatment of patients with tumor related depression
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of acupuncture+sertraline in patients with cancer related depression(CRD).Methods 90 patients with CRD from January 2021 to June 2022 were included.The control group(45 patients included,using Sertraline hydrochloride tablets),the observation group(45 patients included,using acupuncture+Sertraline hydrochloride tablets),the Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),Self rating depression scale(SDS),Cancer fatigue scale(CFS)Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),immune cytokines,and health survey scale 36(SF-36)were compared between two groups.Results After 4 weeks of treatment,HAMD,SDS,CFS,PSQI,Transforming growth factor β(TGF-β)、Interleukin 4(IL-4)in the observation group is lower than those in control group,while γ Interferon(IFN-γ)、SF-36 in the observation group is higher(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acu puncture+Sertralinefor can regulate the expression of immune cytokines,alleviate depression,reduce fatigue,Sleep disorder,and improve the quality of life in CRD patients.
