The impact of psychological nursing on mental health status in first-episode hypertensive patients
Objective To explore the impact of psychological care on the mental health status in first-episode hypertensive patients. Methods From January 2021 to December 2022,A total of 100 first-episode hypertensive pa-tients were included and divided into a control group(receiving routine care)and an observation group(receiving rou-tine care+psychological care)based on the standardized grouping method of"random number table".50 patients in each group; The negative emotions, symptom checklist, medication compliance, and blood pressure levels were compared between groups. Results After intervention, the scores of Self Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self Rating Depression Scale(SDS),and Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90)decreased in both groups, with the observation group having a lower score(P<0.05).The treatment compliance rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After intervention, both groups showed a significant downward trend in blood pressure levels, with the observation group showing a relatively lower level(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of psychologi-cal nursing in first-episode hypertensive patients undergoing physical examination can actively eliminate negative emo-tions and strengthen compliance, while also improving mental health status and stabilizing blood pressure control.
