Effect of Multidimensional collaborative care on negative emotions and quality of life in young and mid-dle-aged coronary heart disease patients with depression
Objective To investigate the effects of multidimensional collaborative care on negative emotions and quality of life in young and middle-aged patients with coronary heart disease with depression. Methods Eighty-five patients with coronary heart disease with depression from April 2019 to April 2021 in the People's Hospital of Wuhan University were the subjects of this study. The random number table method was used to divide them into two groups. The control group underwent conventional care, and the observation group used multidimensional synergistic care. The anxiety(SAS)and depression(SDS)self-rating scales and the Quality-of-Life Measurement Scale for Patients with Chronic Diseases-coronary heart disease(QLICD-CHD)were evaluated before and after care in both groups.Left heart ejection fraction(LVEF)was measured. Results SAS scores and SDS scores were significantly lower in both groups after care than before care, and both scores were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group after care(P<0.05).The QLICD-CHD score and LVEF increased significantly in both groups after care compared with those before care, and both scores were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group after care(P<0.05).Conclusion Multidimensional collaborative care can reduce negative emotions such as anxiety and de-pression in young and middle-aged patients with coronary heart disease and improve cardiac function as well as related quality of life.
