The effect of multi-disciplinary psychological intervention on anxiety and depression mood and coopera-tion of patients with preoperative stage diagnosis of gastric cancer
Objective To explore the application of multidisciplinary psychological intervention based on stress and coping theory in preoperative staging diagnosis of gastric cancer and its influence on anxiety, depression and coopera-tion degree of patients. Methods A total of 82 hospitalized patients with pathologically confirmed gastric cancer requiring preoperative staging assessment from January 2020 to January 2023 in our hospital were selected as research objects, and divided into control group and observation group according to random number table method.During hospitalization,41 patients in the control group were given routine psychological intervention measures, while 41 patients in the observation group were given multidisciplinary psychological intervention measures based on stress and coping theory. The anxiety and depression, the degree of cooperation and satisfaction of examination and evaluation, and the coincidence rate of ab-dominal ultrasound diagnosis were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results The anxiety scores and depression scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The coopera-tion degree and satisfaction degree of observation group were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the coincidence rate of abdominal ultrasound diagnosis between the two groups(P>0.05),and the examination time was shorter than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion In summary, the multidisciplinary psychological intervention based on the stress and coping theory can effectively improve the anxiety, depression and other negative states of hospitalized patients with pathologically confirmed gastric cancer who need preoperative staging assess-ment,improve the cooperation of examination and evaluation and patient satisfaction, shorten the examination time, and the ultrasound results are consistent with the pathological diagnosis results.
