Evaluation and interventions of sexual self defense ability in female inpatient with wandering
Objective Explore the level of sexual self-defense ability and related influencing factors in hospi-talized female patients with wandering mental disorders, and analyze the improvement effect of relevant interventions on their sexual self-defense ability level. Methods 126 hospitalized homeless female patients with mental disorders admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into loss group(51 cases)and presence group(75 cases)based on their admission self-defense ability assessment scale(CSSD)scores.Compare the general demographic data and experience of sexual behavior between two groups of patients,as well as the positive and negative symptom scale(PANSS)scores, manic scale(BRMS),social disability screening scale(SDSS),self-awareness scale(SAUMD),and social support rating scale(SSRS).Using binary logistic regres-sion analysis to analyze the factors affecting the sexual self-defense ability of hospitalized female patients with wandering mental disorders.Implement appropriate intervention management and follow up for 3 months to evaluate the effective-ness of the intervention. Results Compared with the presence group, the loss group had a higher proportion of unem-ployed individuals,a higher proportion of illiterate individuals, and a higher proportion of asexual knowledge individu-als(P<0.05).Compared with the presence group, the loss group had higher scores on PANSS,SDSS,and SAUMD scales, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that occupation, education level,PANSS,and SAUMD were factors that affected the sexual self-defense ability of hospitalized female patients with wandering mental disorders(P<0.05).Moreover,non occupational, illiterate education, increased PANSS,and SAUMD are independent risk factors for the loss of sexual self-defense ability in hospitalized female pa-tients with wandering mental disorders.Compared with before the intervention, the CSSD score of patients after the intervention significantly increased(t=-14.674,P<0.05).Conclusion Currently, the sexual self-defense ability of hospitalized female patients with wandering mental disorders is at a relatively low level.Occupation, education level,PANSS,and SAUMD are factors that affect the sexual self-defense ability of hospitalized female patients with wander-ing mental disorders.Appropriate intervention can help patients improve their sexual self-defense ability.
