Analysis of the Occurrence of Aggressive Behavior and Risk Factors in Patients with Bipolar Disorder
Objective To investigate the occurrence and risk factors of aggressive behavior in bipolar disor-der(BD).Methods A total of 105 cases of BD patients from June 2020 to August 2023 were included.Investigate whether there is aggressive behavior and use this to divide into observation and control groups.Compare the information of the two groups, such as residence and disease duration, and include the information with significant differences for multifactorial analysis. Results Forty-one of the 105 patients had aggressive behavior.Differences in disease type, disease duration, negative events,self-awareness,living alone, social support, and history of suicide or self-injury between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Differences in place of residence, age, years of edu-cation,marriage,and gender between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Multifactorial analysis showed that negative events, impairment of self-knowledge,living alone, low level of social support, and history of suicide or self-harm were risk factors for aggressive behavior in BD.Conclusion Aggressive behavior is more common in patients with BD,and negative events, impaired self-awareness,and living alone may increase the risk of aggres-sion and should be prevented.
