Effect of modified Morita therapy combined with fluvoxamine in the treatment of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and its influence on negative emotions and psychological defense mechanisms
Objective To observe the effects of modified Morita therapy combined with fluvoxamine on clinical symptoms,negative emotions and psychological defense mechanism in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder.Methods 92 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder in our hospital were divided by random number table meth-od,46 patients in the control group were given fluvoxamine treatment,46 patients in the observation group were com-bined with modified Morita therapy on the basis of the control group,and the obsessive-compulsive symptoms,nega-tive emotions and psychological defense mechanisms were compared between the two groups.Results After 6 months of treatment,the total effective rate of observation group was higher than that of control group(P=0.036).Before and af-ter 1 month of treatment,there was no statistical significance between the two groups(P=0.404,0.120).After 3 and 6 months of treatment,the scores of compulsive symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P=0.005,0.009).After treatment,the difference of anxiety and depression scores before and after treatment in observation group was larger than that in control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the differences of masking fac-tor,immature defense mechanism score and mature defense mechanism score in observation group were larger than those in control group(P<0.05),and there was no statistical significance in the difference of intermediate defense mecha-nism score between the two groups(P=0.292).Conclusion Modified Morita therapy combined with fluvoxamine can effectively reduce the obsessive symptoms of OCD patients treated with fluvoxamine alone,improve negative emotions,regulate psychological defense mechanism,and improve clinical efficacy.
