The effect of sandplay therapy for Parkinson's disease patients with depression
Objective To analyze the effects of sandplay therapy combined with paroxetine hydrochloride on ad-verse mental state,monoamine neurotransmitter level and cognitive function in patients with Parkinson's disease com-plicated with depression.Methods A total of 106 patients with Parkinson's disease combined with depression admitted to our hospital from August 2021 to August 2023 were included in the study,and were divided into two groups by ran-dom number table method,with 53 cases each.In the control group,53 cases were treated with paroxetine hydrochlo-ride,and in the study group,53 cases were treated with sandplay therapy.The adverse psychological state,monoamine neurotransmitter level,cognitive function and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale in study group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The levels of serotonin,dopamine and norepinephrine in study group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The scores of orientation,memory,attention,calculation,recall and language ability in the study group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).paroxetine hydrochloride and(P>0.05).Conclusion Sandplay therapy combined with paroxetine hydrochloride can effectively reduce the adverse psychological state of pa-tients with Parkinson's disease complicated with depression,suggest the level of monoamine neurotransmitter,improve cognitive function,and have high safety.
