Effects of hypoglycemic drugs combined with cognitive behavioral therapy on blood glucose control, psychological stress and sleep status in gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the application of hypoglycemic drugs combined with cognitive behavioral therapy in patients with gestational diabetes. Methods A total of 96 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus in our hospital from March 2020 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into hypoglycemic group and behavioral group according to treatment methods, with 48 cases in each group. The hypoglycemic group was treated with hypoglycemic drugs, and the behavioral group was treated with cognitive behavioral therapy on the basis of the hy-poglycemic group.Blood glucose control, psychological stress and sleep status were compared between the two groups. Results After 12 weeks of treatment, the levels of HBA1c,2 h postprandial blood glucose and fasting blood glucose in behavioral group were lower than those in hypoglycemic group(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment, the scores of Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)in behavioral group were lower than those in hypoglycemic group(P<0.05).After 12 weeks of treatment, the scores of sleep time, sleep time and sleep quality in behavioral group were lower than those in hypoglycemic group(P<0.05).Conclusion Hypoglycemic drugs com-bined with cognitive behavioral therapy can regulate blood glucose control, improve psychological stress and regulate sleep status in gestational diabetes patients.
