Effects of esketamine on postoperative stress and emotion in patients with cesarean section
Objective To investigate the effect of esketamine on postoperative stress and emotion in patients with cesarean section. Methods A total of 120 cases of women in labor in the First People's Hospital of Xinxiang City from April 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Using the numerical table randomization method, they were divided into two groups, the control group was routinely analgesic after surgery, and the observation group added esketamine on the basis of the control group. The preoperative, postoperative 1d,5d Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Edinburgh postnatal depression scale(EPDS),Stanford acute stress reaction questionnaire(SASRQ),the postop-erative postnatal depression scale(EPDS),reaction questionnaire(SASRQ),serum cortisol(Cor)and epinephrine levels(E)were compared. Results Postoperative 1d and 5d HAMA scores and EPDS scores were higher than preop-erative in both groups, and they were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Postoperative 1d and 5d serum Cor,E levels and SASRQ scores were higher than preoperative in both groups, and postoperative Cor,E levels and SASRQ scores were significantly lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of esketamine for postoperative analgesia after cesarean delivery reduces postpartum depression and anxiety as well as acute stress disorder and decreases the degree of stress response.
