The effect of structured psychotherapy on negative emotions, stress levels, and postoperative recovery in patients with endometriosis of childbearing age undergoing laparoscopic surgery
Objective To investigate the effects of structured psychotherapy on negative emotions, stress levels, and postoperative recovery in patients with endometriosis of childbearing age undergoing laparoscopic surgery. Methods 86 patients with endometriosis of childbearing age who underwent laparoscopic surgery in our hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were randomly divided into two groups. All patients received routine perioperative interven-tion,43 patients in the control group received routine psychological counseling, and 43 patients in the observation group received structured psychotherapy. The negative emotions, stress levels, and postoperative recovery effects of the two groups of patients were compared. Results After intervention, the self rating depression scale(SDS)and self rating anxiety scale(SAS)scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).The average arterial pressure(MAP)and heart rate(HR)levels of patients in the observation group before entering the operating room and 24 hours after surgery were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention in the observa-tion group, the first postoperative exhaust time, drainage tube retention time, first defecation time, first meal time, and first bed activity time of patients were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Structured psychotherapy can effectively reduce stress levels in patients with endometriosis of childbearing age undergoing laparo-scopic surgery, alleviate negative emotions, and promote postoperative recovery.
