Effects of escitalopram on psychological stress, sleep status and serum PAI-1 level in patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI
Objective To investigate the effects of Escitalopram on psychological stress, sleep status and serum plasminogen activator inhibitor-1(PAI-1)level in patients with acute myocardial infarction after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods A total of 102 patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI in our hospital from February 2020 to August 2022 were selected as research objects, and divided into psychological group and drug group according to treatment plan. Both groups received routine basic treatment for acute myocardial infarction,51 cases in the psychological group received psychological intervention, and 51 cases in the drug group received escitalopram on the basis of the psychological group.Psychological stress, sleep status, vascular endothelial function and PAI-1 were compared between the two groups. Results After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of generalized anxiety Disorder Scale(GAD-7),health questionnaire Self-rating Depression Scale(PHQ-9),sleep efficiency, sleep time, sleep quality,endothelin-1(ET-1)and PAI-1 in drug group were lower than those in psychological group(P<0.05).The level of nitric oxide(NO)was higher than that of psychological group(P<0.05).Conclusion Escitalopram can im-prove vascular endothelial function and PAI-1 level, regulate psychological stress and improve sleep status in patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI.
