Application of multi-channel continuous nursing combined with empathy intervention in patients with Alzheimer's disease
Objective To explore the application effect of multi-channel continuous nursing combined with em-pathy intervention in the intervention of patients with Alzheimer's disease. Methods 154 patients with Alzheimer's disease admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as research subjects, and were divided into control group(n=77)and observation group(n=77)by the random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given multi-channel continuous nursing combined with empathy inter-vention.Cognitive function(Mini-Mental State Examination score),self-care ability[Activity of Daily Living(ADL)],short-form health survey questionnaire score, occurrence of accidental events and nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups were compared before and after intervention. Results After intervention, the scores of memory, numeracy and attention, language ability, orientation and recalling in both groups were increased(P<0.05),and the scores of memory, numeracy and attention, language ability and recalling in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The ADL scores in both groups were decreased after intervention(P<0.05),and the scores were lower in observation group(P<0.05).The scores of physiological function, emotional function, mental health, social function and overall health were risen in both groups after intervention(P<0.05),and the scores in observation group were higher(P<0.05).The total incidence rate of accidental events in observation group(2.60%)was lower than that in control group(11.70%)(P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction was 96.10%in observation group, which was higher than 84.42%in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Multi-channel continuous nursing combined with empathy intervention can improve the cognitive function, enhance the self-care ability and quality of life, reduce the risk of ac-cidental events and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients with Alzheimer's disease.
