Research advances in the clavipectoral fascial plane block
Clavicle surgery is a common type of surgery in the operating room.Either general anesthesia or nerve blocking an-esthesia can be used to meet the anesthesia requirement of the operation.Clavipectoral fascial plane block(CPB)is a new block tech-nique for clavicle region surgery. This technique is easy to perform, with clear anesthesia/analgesia effect.Since it avoids phrenic nerve paralysis and upper limb motor function block,it is especially suitable for patients who suffer impaired cardiopulmonary func-tion or bilateral clavicle fracture. This review summarizes the innervation of the clavicle, common anesthesia methods for clavicle sur-gery,and the operation steps, block mechanism, clinical application and current shortcomings of CPB to provide a reference for clini-cal application.
