Hemodynamic parameters predict stroke recurrence in patients with symptomatic intracranial atherosclerotic disease
Intracranial atherosclerotic disease(ICAD)is a common cause of ischemic stroke and transient ischemic attack worldwide. The risk of stroke recurrence is higher for symptomatic ICAD(sICAD).In recent years,an increasing number of studies have reported the important role of hemodynamics in the progression of sICAD and stroke recurrence. This article reviews the value of hemodynamic parameters for predicting stroke recurrence in patients with sICAD.
