Abstract
Objective To form the Health Care Organization Health Literacy(HCOHL)measurement indicator system. Methods This study was conducted from June,2021 to December,2021.The first draft of the HCOHL measurement indicator system was constructed through literature analysis,semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions. The final draft of the HCOHL measurement indicator system was developed through expert con-sultation and the indicator weights were determined through hierarchical analysis. Results The HCOHL measure-ment indicator system contained four primary indicators,twenty-two secondary indicators,forty-eight tertiary indica-tors and sixty-four measurement items.Four primary indicators and their weights were:"Health care organization can improve health literacy promotion-based management systems"(0.380 9),"Staff-led health literacy promotion"(0.380 9),"Health literacy promoting physical environment construction"(0.159 2)and"External collaboration"(0.079 0).Conclusion The HCOHL measurement indicator system constructed in this study is scientific and feasi-ble,and can provide a reference tool for evaluating health literacy promotion in healthcare organizations and the im-plementation of Healthy China Initiative(2019-2030).
