Objective To provide reference for training social work professionals of hospice care in China.Methods This paper was mainly based on the grounded theory,relying on NVivo 12 software to encode the relevant data at three levels,and finally analyzed the core competence requirements of the specialty.Results This study was theoreti-cally saturated through coding analysis,and a total of 32 primary codes,9 secondary codes and 3 tertiary codes were obtained.The three three-level codes constituted the core competencies that hospice care social workers should have,which were professional knowledge learning and application ability,psychological care ability,and coordination and integration of resources ability.Conclusion We should actively promote the construction of social workers in hospice care,improve the service level of hospice care,and contribute to the promotion of"healthy China"strategy.
