The Mediating Effect of Workplace Adaptation on Standardized Training of Nurses'Stress Quotient and Active Professional Behavior
Objective To explore the relationship between adversity quotient and active professional behavior of standardized training nurses,as well as the mediating role of workplace adaptation.Methods From December 2021 to March 2022,convenience sampling was used to investigate 486 standardized training nurses in 5 tertiary hospitals in Xinjiang with the general information questionnaire,Workplace Adaptation Scale,Adversity Consultation Scale and Active Professional Behavior Scale.Results The scores of adversity quotient,workplace adaptation and active pro-fessional behavior of standardized training nurses were(121.72±17.59),(58.91±9.17)and(42.17±9.84),respec-tively.There was a significant positive correlation between workplace adaptation,adversity quotient and active pro-fessional behavior(r=0.561-0.707,P<0.001).Workplace adaptation partially mediated the relationship between adversity quotient and active professional behavior(0.21,95%CI:0.53-0.78).Conclusion The adversity quotient,workplace adaptation and active professional behavior of standardized training nurses are at a medium level.The ad-versity quotient can not only directly affect active professional behavior,but also indirectly affect active professional behavior through the mediating effect of workplace adaptation.It is suggested that managers should carry out nega-tive business education for standardized nurses,improve their ability to cope with setbacks through correct psycho-logical training,improve workplace adaptability,and thus improve their level of active professional behavior.
