Analysis of Hospitalization Expenses of Mental Diseases in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from 2016 to 2020
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of hospitalization costs for patients with mental illness in Xinjiang,and to provide theoretical data for reducing the economic burden of hospitalization.Methods The stratified cluster random sampling method was used to extract the first page information of medical records of 72 medical and health institutions from the hospital quality monitoring system from 2016 to 2020.The grey modeling software was used to calculate the correlation degree of the cost items,and the multiple linear regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of the total hospitalization expenses.Results The average cost of hospitalization for mental illness was 14 452.19 yuan.The top three factors of hospitalization cost change were examination fee,examination fee and treatment fee,with the contribution rate of 64.80％;Length of stay,hospital level,re-hospitalization plan within 31 days and the use of psychiatric scale were the main influencing factors of hospitalization cost for mental ill-ness.Conclusion The examination fee caused more changes in the structure of hospitalization cost,and the technical service fee increasing slowly and the price adjustment lagged behind.Therefore,we should construct an objective diagnosis and treatment system and optimize the allocation of resources to reduce hospitalization cost.
