Analysis of Anxiety and Depression in Young and Middle-aged Patients with Hypertension and Its Related Influencing Factors in Qingdao
Objective To investigate the anxiety and depression of young and middle-aged patients with hyperten-sion in Qingdao city,and to explore its influencing factors.Methods Middle-aged and young hypertension patients admitted to the department of cardiovascular medicine of Qingdao Fuwai Cardiovascular Disease Hospital from January 2021 to August 2022 were selected as the research objects.Based on the data of the hospital information management system,the self-designed questionnaire was used to collect the basic information of the patients,and the anxiety state of the patients was assessed by GAD-7 scale.PHQ-9 scale was used to evaluate the depression status of the patients.Descriptive analysis,univariate Chi-square analysis and binary Logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the anxiety and depression status and influencing factors of the young and middle-aged patients with hyper-tension.Results Among 764 young and middle-aged patients with hypertension,154 patients(20.16%)had anxiety,261 patients(34.16%)had depression,and 328 patients(42.93%)had both anxiety and depression.Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that recent major life events,daily average working time and daily average sleep time were correlated with anxiety in young and middle-aged patients with high blood pressure(P<0.05).Drinking histo-ry,recent major life events,annual income level and average daily sleep time were correlated with depression in young and middle-aged patients with hypertension(P<0.05).Conclusion Young and middle-aged patients with hyperten-sion are at greater risk of anxiety and depression.Sudden major life events,long working hours,less sleep time,and bad living habits are the influencing factors of anxiety and depression in young and middle-aged patients with hyper-tension.Clinical treatment should be combined with social support and psychological counseling to ensure the physi-cal and mental health of patients.
