Analysis on the Demand and Influencing Factors of Home Medical Care Service for the Elderly in Chengdu
Objective The current situation of the demand for integrated home medical and nursing care services in the elderly in Chengdu was investigated,and its influencing factors were discussed,so as to provide a reference for better providing community integrated home medical and nursing care services and improving the quality of life of the elderly.Methods A total of 852 elderly people aged 60 and above were selected in four community health service centers in Chengdu as the study subjects.The demand for integrated home medical and nursing care services in the elderly community was descriptively analyzed,and multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing fac-tors of integrated medical and nursing care services.Results The scores of the elderly for community home-based medical and nursing care services were health management(3.29±1.27),intelligent elderly care(3.17±1.33),medi-cal visits(3.15±1.31),psychological care(2.99±1.25),and rehabilitation nursing(2.69±1.29).The difference in demand between different dimensions was statistically significant(P＜0.001).Age,education level,number of chil-dren,and physical health were the main influencing factors of the needs of the elderly.Conclusion The market de-mand for health management and intelligent elderly care services is high,and the age,education level,number of chil-dren and other factors lead to the differentiation of the demand for medical and nursing care services in different di-mensions.The service market should be further subdivided to meet the needs of community medical and nursing care services for the elderly,and gradually realize the hierarchical classification and accurate services of community home medical and nursing care services for the elderly.
