Research on User Perception Behavior of Xinjiang Electronic Medical Record System from the Perspective of Technology Acceptance Model
Objective Using technology acceptance theory to investigate the user perception of using electronic medical record system in work practice, and to analyze the external factors and internal mechanisms that affect the use behavior,so as to provide theoretical reference for system design. Methods 487 EMR users from 6 hospitals in Xinjiang were selected by systematic sampling as the research object.A questionnaire on EMR users'perception be-havior based on technology acceptance theory was designed. An analysis model was established using AMOS 16.0 structural equation modeling tool to analyze the interaction mechanism among perception technology, perception process and results. Results The ease of use of electronic medical records had a significant negative impact on users'perception of the complexity of the diagnosis and treatment process(β=-0.426,P<0.05);usefulness had a signifi-cant negative impact on complexity(β=-0.359,P<0.05),usefulness had a significant negative impact on rigidity(β=-0.353,P<0.05).Complexity had a significant negative impact on user behavior and attitude(β=-0.307,P<0.01).Rigidity had a significant negative impact on user behavior and attitude(β=-0.212,P<0.05),ease of use didn't have any significant impact on perceived usefulness(β=0.181,P>0.05).Conclusion The characteristics of perception technology and perception process determine the attitude and behavior of users using EMR;Clarifying the factors that affect attitudes and behaviors is of great significance to continuously promote the in-depth use of EMR in medical and health institutions.
