Awareness,Willingness,Readiness for Multi-site Practice and Its Influencing Factors among Specialist Nurses in Public Hospital
Objective To analyze the awareness,willingness and readiness for multi-site practice among specialist nurses in public hospitals,and analyze the influencing factors of their willingness to multi-site practice.Methods A total of 524 specialist nurses from public hospitals in Sichuan Province were selected to investigate their cognition,willingness and readiness to multi-site practice.The correlation of cognition,willingness and readiness for multi-site practice in specialist nurses,and factors influencing the willingness to multi-site practice were analyzed.Results The scores of readiness,cognition and willingness to multi-site practice of the 524 specialist nurses were(116.00±13.58),(34.23±5.68)and(83.14±9.28).There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of cogni-tion and willingness to multi-site practice between specialist nurses of different gender,working hours,working time in the specialty department,marital status,and with certificate of specialist nurses for different time(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the scores of cognition and willingness to multi-site practice be-tween nurses of different age,education levels,professional titles and types of certificates(P<0.05).Cognition score of multi-site practice was positively correlated with willingness score(r=0.457,P<0.001).Cognition score of multi-site practice was positively correlated with readiness score(r=0.493,P<0.001),and willingness score of multi-site practice was positively correlated with readiness score(r=0.352,P=0.007).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that age,education level,professional title,and type of certificate were independent influencing fac-tors of specialist nurses'willingness to multi-site practice(P<0.05).Conclusion Specialist nurses in public hospi-tals have a moderate level of cognition and readiness for multi-site practice.Targeted countermeasures can be taken according to the factors influencing the willingness to multi-site practice to promote the effective implementation and better development of multi-site practice among specialist nurses.
