Investigation on Compliance with Secondary Prevention and Related Factors of Elderly Patients with Coronary Heart Disease in Communities in Xi'an
Objective To study the compliance with secondary prevention and related factors of elderly patients with coronary heart disease in communities in Xi'an.Methods Using the random stratified sampling method,980 elderly patients with coronary heart disease from communities in Xi'an were selected as the research subjects from October 2022 to October 2023 and were divided into good compliance group and poor compliance group.The influen-cing factors of patients'compliance with secondary prevention were analyzed.Results There were 578 patients(58.98%)with good compliance and 402 patients(41.02%)with poor compliance.Univariate and multivariate Logis-tic regression analysis found that education level(OR=2.563),economic income(OR=2.821),payment method for treatment expenses(OR=3.083),understanding of secondary prevention(OR=4.923),independent understanding of disease-related knowledge(OR=3.216),types of drugs used(OR=2.179),and adverse drug reactions(OR=3.916)were independent factors influencing patient compliance(P<0.05).Conclusion Compliance with secondary prevention among elderly patients with coronary heart disease in communities in Xi'an is relatively low.Education level,economic income,understanding of coronary heart disease,self-acquired knowledge,types of drugs used and ad-verse drug reactions are influencing factors.Targeted prevention strategies should be adopted to improve patients'compliance with secondary prevention.
