Research on the Evaluation of the Operation Status of Inpatient Medical Services in Each Specialty based on DIP Payment Data
Objective Based on the results of a hospital's and the city's DIP payment data in the same period to evaluate the operation status and methods of the hospital's specialized medical inpatient services,so as to provide ref-erence for the hospital's operation and development.Methods The data related to the enrollment and settlement of a hospital paid by DIP in a period of time were evaluated from the two dimensions of medical service capacity and me-dical service efficiency,and the four indicators include the number of DIP enrollments,the average score of each case,the cost consumption index and the time consumption index.Results The running status of the two specialties in the hospital were excellent.The operation status of five specialties was poor.The operation status of other specialties was general.Conclusion DIP payment can be used as a tool to evaluate the operation status of medical services,ob-jectively and scientifically reflect the advantages and disadvantages of medical services in hospitals and departments,and provide data support for continuous improvement of medical services.
